Tyson was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. After high school, he spent two years as a volunteer in Argentina where he became fluent in Spanish. He then obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Alberta.
In 2019, Tyson earned his J.D. from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia. During law school, he worked as a research assistant for the Dean of Law and an Assistant Professor, and volunteered at the school’s community legal clinic. In his last year of law school, Tyson competed in the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot.
Tyson recently joined Stringam LLP as an articling student in our Lethbridge office. Tyson is interested in practicing in all areas of litigation, family, real estate, employment, and business law. He looks forward to gaining a wide exposure to the various areas of law here at Stringam.
Outside of the office, Tyson enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys staying active through a variety of sports, including basketball, rugby, golf, and snowboarding.
