Elise was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She is a 2020 graduate of the University of Alberta Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she spent two years at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where she was a double Bachelor of Arts Candidate in Classical Studies and Art History. During her time in law school, Elise was actively involved in several student group social justice and access to justice initiatives, including: Student Legal Services; the Women’s Law Forum; the LGBTQ+ student group, OUTLaw; and as a team lead on the Faculty of Law’s student-run blog, ReconciliActionYEG. She was awarded the Gary J. Bigg Memorial Award in Advocacy from the University of Alberta in 2020.
Elise holds memberships in both the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of Saskatchewan, maintaining a practice in the areas of Family Law, Wills & Estates, and Real Estate in both the Medicine Hat and Swift Current Offices.
In her free time, Elise enjoys cooking, running, cycling, swimming, curling, and golf.
