Ian grew up in Medicine Hat. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Lethbridge, followed by a J.D. from the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia.
Ian has gained experience in a broad range of practice areas, including real estate, corporate/commercial, wills and estates, family and divorce, civil litigation, and criminal matters. Although he maintains a general practice, incorporating these areas, he primarily focuses on Civil Litigation, Divorce & Family Law, and Criminal Law.
Outside the office, Ian can often be found cooking and eating delicious food, reading and writing, watching and writing about film and cinema, playing basketball and following the NBA, and camping and hiking with his wife and two children. He has also been involved with Scouts Canada and he enjoys attending and participating in community events and programs.
