Omar was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. After spending time as a Power Engineer in Alberta’s oil field, he decided to make a change, follow his passion, and he enrolled in law school. Omar attended Bond University in Australia where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree before moving to Grande Prairie to join Stringam and complete his articling.
Omar is largely interested in Civil Litigation but would like to expand to different areas such as Corporate Law, Family Law and Real Estate in hopes of building a more general, rounded practice.
During his spare time, he enjoys watching the Oilers with friends, playing any recreational sport that involves being outside and shopping for things he does not need. Omar is bilingual and fluent in Arabic. He is excited to establish himself in the Grande Prairie community.
