Matthew was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and growing up in a military family he had the opportunity to live in towns and cities across Canada. He received his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and History from Dalhousie University in 2007. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2010. He became a Partner at Stringam in 2020 and was named the Regional Managing Partner of Southeast Alberta in 2023.
Matthew has developed a practice with an emphasis on corporate and commercial law, real estate, land transactions, wills, estate planning, financing, agri-business law and municipal law. Matthew works in the Medicine Hat and Brooks offices but has clients from Regina to Calgary and every rural area in between. Matthew is also available to travel and assist Southwest Saskatchewan clients with their corporate and agri-business legal needs.
Matthew enjoys being active outdoors, especially in the mountains. Matthew strongly believes in education and can often be found speaking at seminars.
