Tyson was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. After high school, he spent two years as a volunteer in Argentina where he became fluent in Spanish. He then obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Alberta. In 2019, Tyson earned his J.D. from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. During law school, he worked as a research assistant for the Dean of Law and an Assistant Professor and volunteered at the school’s community legal clinic.
He maintains a general law practice working in the areas of general litigation, family, civil litigation, wills & estates, real estate, and personal injury. Tyson successfully appears regularly before both the Provincial Court of Alberta and Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.
Outside of the office, Tyson enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys staying active through a variety of sports, including basketball, rugby, golf, and snowboarding.
