The Western Canadian Baseball League is teaming up with Stringam Law for the upcoming season.

Noah Rolheiser, the Director of Corporate Sponsorships with the WCBL, said the partnership will make Stringam Law the title sponsor for the league, as well as the “Official Law Firm of WCBL.”

In addition, the partnership will see Stringam Law logos adorn player batting helmets around the league.

“We are very excited to welcome Stringam Law to our team,” said Rolheiser.

“Stringam Law is one of Western Canada’s largest regional law firms, with a solid reputation and a commitment to excellence. It’s a welcome addition to our league.”

Holt Humphrey, Vice President of Business Development at Stringam Law, described the partnership as an ideal match.

“As we continue to expand across Western Canada, partnering with the Western Canadian Baseball League is a natural fit,” said Humphrey.

“Their footprint aligns closely with ours, creating opportunities to connect with communities across multiple markets in a meaningful and authentic way.”

ABOUT THE WESTERN CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE (WCBL)

The WCBL is Canada’s premier summer collegiate baseball league. The 12-team WCBL boasts a long-standing tradition of creating a showcase for top Canadian prospects, while at the same time offering American college players the opportunity to hone their skills in front of enthusiastic baseball fans in towns and cities throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.

The wood-bat league consists of two divisions, an all-Alberta West Division and an East Division comprised of five Saskatchewan squads and a franchise from Alberta.

WCBL rosters include elite college players from across North America and league alumni have gone on to play in Major League Baseball (MLB), at the World Baseball Classic (WBC) and in other professional baseball leagues.

All-Star Weekend takes place in Saskatoon this year, where the Berries will play host to the top players from around the WCBL on Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th.

The Regina Red Sox are the defending WCBL champions, coming off a thrilling three-game series victory over the Sylvan Lake Gulls in 2025.
