Cassidy was born and raised on a ranch near Elkwater, AB. She graduated in 2020 from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. While attending the University of Regina, Cassidy competed and placed in numerous case competitions and was a member of UR Investing, a student-run investment fund with the Hill School of Business. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law, which she completed in 2023. While completing her law degree, Cassidy volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada on the Miller Thomson Wills Project.

Cassidy hopes to maintain a general law practice but is primarily interested in civil litigation, family law and employment law.

Growing up Cassidy played a variety of sports, most notably hockey. While attending Eagle Butte High School, she played hockey for the Southeast Alberta Midget AAA Tigers out of Vauxhall, AB and Junior A out of Calgary, AB. When not at the office, Cassidy enjoys getting outside of the city and spending time at her parent’s.
