Erin Ippolito was raised in Alberta and began her academic journey at the University of Calgary, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree before completing her law degree (LLB) at the University of Saskatchewan. From the outset of her career, Erin has been deeply committed to advocacy, dispute resolution, and mentorship, later expanding her impact through teaching roles with the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education and guest lectures at post-secondary institutions.
Erin is an accomplished litigator with over 20 years of experience across civil, insurance, employment, construction, and personal injury law. She has acted in high-value and complex matters, including multi-million-dollar class actions, administrative law claims, and jury trials, and has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, including the Court of Appeal. Known for her strategic approach and exceptional negotiation skills, Erin also has extensive experience in mediation, arbitration, commercial litigation, extensive work with first nations, trauma-informed lawyering, and judicial dispute resolution, always striving to deliver practical and effective outcomes for her clients.
Outside her practice, Erin is an active contributor to the Calgary community. She has volunteered with Calgary Legal Guidance, Pro Bono Law Alberta, and the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association, receiving multiple service awards for her pro bono work. Beyond her professional commitments, she enjoys spending time with her family and supporting initiatives that strengthen access to justice and community well-being.
